The Playbook is a section within Career where employees can view and manage their own career path.
This section is automatically populated based on your organization’s Career Paths and Competency Matrix, and reflects only the information related to your role.
It shows your current role, career levels, and the competencies required for growth.
On the left side of the page, you can view your career path to track progress and see your current position:
- Current Position: Your official role highlighted with a CURRENT status.
- Completed Levels: Levels you’ve completed are marked with green checkmarks, so you can easily see your achievements.
Choose Your Next Career Step
In this section, you can select a career path and a target level to explore your next possible career move.
Use the dropdowns to choose a path and level (e.g., Senior) and click Match Path to compare your current competencies with the requirements of that role.
The system analyzes your profile based on the Competency Matrix and immediately shows how well you match the selected role and what skills you need to improve.

Once you run the analysis, the page updates with a detailed breakdown:
- Role Details: The center card displays the specific Job Family (e.g., Finance), Career Track (e.g., Managerial Track), and the Position name (e.g., Account Manager) associated with your selection.
- Matching Percentage: Shows at a glance how closely your current skills align with the requirements of the selected role and level.
- Total Competencies: Shows the total number of skills required for the selected role.
- Competencies Distribution Graph: This visual chart categorizes your skills into three groups: Matched (meeting requirements), Need Improvement (areas for growth), and Surpassed (skills exceeding the target level).
- Competency Gap Analysis: This section compares your current skills with role requirements and highlights gaps and strengths.
Note: The analysis is based on data from the Competency Profile. Once scores are updated or new evaluations are completed, the results here will automatically sync to reflect the latest progress.
