Visualizing Your OKR Hierarchy

Navigate to Perform → OKRs → OKR Tree (or Objective Tree). Begin by selecting a cycle to view its associated objectives and key results. The Tree View visually represents the hierarchical relationships between objectives. For example, a Department-level objective can be assigned as a child objective to a Company-level objective. This structure illustrates how interconnected objectives contribute to your overall strategic goals.

Key elements include:

  • North Stars: The overarching goals at the top
  • Cycles: The timeframes for achieving objectives
  • Objectives: The specific goals to be accomplished
  • Key Results: The measurable outcomes that contribute to achieving objectives
  • Relationships: The hierarchical structure connecting objectives
  • Color Coding: The use of color coding for objectives and key results enhances visual
    organization.
  • Progress Indicators: The progress bars provide a quick visual assessment of achievement.

The OKR Tree and Objective Tree sections are interconnected within the OKR framework.

The OKR Tree visualizes the hierarchical relationship between objectives and key results, demonstrating how they contribute to achieving strategic goals. It displays essential information such as contributors, progress, and timeframes.

Note: Access to the OKR Tree is restricted based on user permissions. Refer to the Roles and Permissions section for more details.

The Objective Tree represents the overarching objectives aligning with the company's vision and mission and can be viewed by all team members to gain insights into the strategic direction and priorities.

At the bottom of the OKR Tree page, you'll find objectives that are not aligned with your company's overarching goals. These objectives may need to be revised or realigned to ensure they contribute to your strategic priorities.

Clicking on Show Objectives will display these unaligned objectives.
