Org Chart: Visualizing Hierarchy

Where to Find: We → Org Structure → Chart

Note: Access and editing capabilities are determined by your organization’s specific . permission configurations.

The Chart view is the visual heart of your organization. It provides an interactive, real-time map that shows how all Organizational Bodies - including Departments, Divisions, Units, and Teams - are connected and who reports to whom.
The Chart view is built from the functions you create. Once functions are added, they appear automatically on the chart, allowing you to visualize relationships, accountabilities, and reporting lines.

You can customize your view using the available filters:
  • Filter by Org Body: Select a specific entity (e.g., Business Development) to focus on it. The chart will update to show only that body and its structure.
  • Search Bar: Quickly find a specific function by entering its name.
  • Body Type Filter (left panel): The left panel shows organizational body types (department, division, unit, team).
    • Select one or more options to display them on the chart.
Each card on the chart represents a Function (a specific role). On each card, you can see:
  • Function: The name of the function and the person assigned to it.
  • Accountabilities: The number of responsibilities linked to this function.
  • Reportees: Shows how many people are assigned to function under this one. Click “X reportees” to view the list of their names in a sidebar..
    • Click “+” to add a subfunction under this function and assign employees to it.
      • For example, under the HR Manager function, you could add subfunction like “Recruitment” and assign team members to each.
        • Use the arrows to expand or collapse the hierarchy.
      • Unassign: Remove an employee from a function.
        • For group functions, click the number of employees to open the list, then unassign them individually.
      • Unassign Parent: Click the icon on a subfunction (child function) to detach it from its parent function.
