Understanding the Candidate Experience Survey Overview: Details, Respondents, and Statistics

Once your Candidate Experience Survey is created and saved, the Survey Overview page offers a comprehensive view of its setup and performance. This page is divided into three key tabs — Details, Respondents, and Statistics — each providing valuable insights into survey configuration, participation, and results. Understanding these sections will help you better interpret candidate feedback and improve your hiring experience.

You can also access this page by navigating to Hire → Application Forms → Candidate Experience Surveys.

Details Tab:

Here, you will find a list of questions included in your survey, along with the available answer options for that question.

Here you can add new questions, make changes to existing ones, remove questions, or duplicate them.

Respondents Tab:

The Respondents tab allows you to manage and view information related to who has participated in the survey:

  • A list of individuals who have submitted responses.
  • The status of invitations sent. (Delivered, Not Delivered, Completed)
  • Sent Date and Submission Date.

You can view individual responses by clicking the View Responses button.

Here you can filter the list by survey status using the Filter button.

Statistics Tab:

The Statistics tab provides a visual and analytical overview of the responses collected for your survey:

  • Question-by-question analysis: For each question in your survey, you'll see a breakdown of the answers received.
  • Answer counts and percentages: Alongside the visualizations, you'll see the number of respondents who selected each answer option, as well as the corresponding percentage.
    • Percentage calculation: The number of people who picked a specific answer is divided by the total number of people who answered that question, and then multiplied by 100.

Example: For a question that received a total of 200 responses, if a specific answer option was selected by 50 respondents, the calculation for the percentage of that answer would be:

Percentage = (Number of responses for the specific answer / Total number of responses for the question) × 100

Percentage = (50 / 200) × 100

Percentage = 25%

  • Archived Options: Clicking the Archived Options button reveals the question's archived answer choices (in the sidebar window). This allows you to view responses related to options no longer active in your survey.
  • Responses: Clicking the Responses button displays quick filters for each answer option of the selected question (in the sidebar window). Selecting a filter will show you the specific respondents who chose that option, along with the total number of times that option was selected.
  • Filtering options: You can filter the statistics based on specific questions, question types, and status (Active, Archived).
