Understanding and Managing KPI Details
Understanding and managing KPI details allows you to review comprehensive information, manage configurations, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Access and manage KPI details across different tabs: Personal, My Team, My Department, and Sub-Departments. In the My Team tab, select a specific employee to view the KPIs assigned to them.
Key Actions and Records:
Assigned KPIs: View KPIs assigned to you, your direct reports, as well as those across your department and sub-departments.
Define Weights: Determine the relative importance of each KPI for employee evaluation. This feature is available in the Personal and My Team tabs.
Track Progress: Review the performance of KPIs over time.
Current Year’s Score (Personal, My Team): See the overall score for the current year, reflecting performance toward assigned goals and objectives.
Filter: Use filters to view KPIs by Strategic Perspective or by Status.
- Use the Filter button to sort KPIs by various criteria, including type, source, department, owner, and more.

Viewing and Managing KPI Details
Click on any KPI’s name to access its full record. Here, you can review detailed information, monitor progress, and perform management actions based on your permissions. The KPI details page displays the following information:
- General Details: View the KPI's name, description, status, and key metrics
- Linkage: Understand the KPI's placement within your organizational structure
- Configuration: This section displays the settings for how the KPI is managed. Here you can see who the approvers are, how notifications are set up, and other key details that govern the KPI's workflow.
- Approvers: This is a list of the users who are responsible for approving the KPI's creation and progress updates.
- Check In Approval Requests: This is a log of all approval requests for KPI check-ins. You can see the status of each request, including whether it's pending, approved, or rejected.
General Details:
- Name: The unique identifier for the KPI
- Description: A brief explanation of the KPI's purpose and what it measures
- Status: The current status of the KPI (e.g., Active, Approved, Rejected)
- Start Date: The date when the KPI was first established
- Frequency: The frequency at which the KPI is measured (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly)
- Current Period: The current timeframe for evaluating the KPI's performance
- Created by: The name of the user who created and assigned the KPI.
- Measurement: Shows a complete overview of how a KPI's performance is tracked and evaluated against set goals, from the specific metrics used to the defined thresholds for success.
- Progress History: Gives you a visual timeline of the KPI's performance over time. The graph provides a visual representation of the progress against the target.
- Target Distribution for Current Year: Detailed breakdown of the KPI's performance for the current year. It shows the Actual score achieved in each period (e.g., August) and the Target for that same period. This allows you to track progress against specific, time-based goals.
- Click the Modify button to edit the actual and target values.
To modify any of these fields, click the Edit button.

Linkage Section:
Organizational Alignment
This section shows where the KPI fits within your company's structure.
- Department: The specific department this KPI belongs to.
- Branch Office: The branch office where the KPI is active.
Assign Team
This section indicates who is responsible for the KPI.
- Type: Defines if the KPI is assigned to an individual or a group.
- Owner: The individual who is ultimately responsible for the KPI's success.
- Contributors: Other team members who contribute to the KPI.
Strategic Alignment
This section connects the KPI to your company’s high-level strategy.
- Pillars & Perspectives: Indicates the strategic area to which this KPI relates (e.g., Organizational Capacity, Customer Satisfaction, Finance, Operational).
- Show in Mapping: This setting determines whether the KPI is visible in your company's strategic mapping view.
Source of KPI Data
- Source: This field shows where the data for this KPI comes from.
Linked KPIs
This section displays any other KPIs that are directly connected to this one, showing their current status, progress, and owner. This helps you understand dependencies and see how different KPIs influence each other. You can also link new KPIs to this one or unlink existing ones directly from this section.
To modify any of these fields, click the Edit button in the top right corner.

Configuration
The Configuration section allows you to manage the workflow and settings for this KPI. To access and modify any of these options, click the Edit button.
- KPI Approvals: This section shows the configured approval flow for a new KPI. It determines whether a manager or approver must approve the KPI before it becomes active.
- Check In Approvals: This section shows the configured approval flow for progress updates. It controls whether a manager must approve check-ins for this KPI before they are officially recorded.
- Reminders: This section shows the settings for automated reminders. You can turn on reminders for KPI check-ins and configure how often they are sent.

Approvers
This section shows who has responded to the approval request for this KPI and what their decision was. The number next to Approvers shows the number of completed approvals out of the total required.
- Person: The name of the person who has completed the approval action.
- Status: The current status of the approval, such as "Approved."
- Date and Time: The exact date and time the approval was submitted.
- Comment: An optional note or message left by the approver.

Check In Approval Requests
Here you can see who has submitted a progress update, what their update was, and whether it has been approved or is still pending. The number next to "Check In Approval Requests" shows the number of completed approvals out of the total required.
For pending requests, you can use the Approve and Reject buttons to respond.
The tabs below provide a complete history for this KPI.
Comments: View and add notes or questions related to the KPI.
Check Ins: See a full history of all progress updates.
Modifications: View a log of all changes made to the KPI's settings.
