Settings: Configuring Your Evaluation System

Where to Find: Evaluate → Appraisal → Settings

The Settings section is the foundation of your appraisal process. Here, you can define the standards and benchmarks that the system uses to evaluate employee performance across your organization.
This section consists of three main tabs: Performance Categories, Decision Points, and Assessment Points.
Performance Categories
This tab displays your predefined success levels, such as "Top Performer" or "At Risk," along with their corresponding score ranges. You can edit these ranges and the levels to fit your organization's needs, and the system will automatically assign these categories to employees based on their final appraisal scores.
Decision Points
This tab allows you to define the decision points available for employee appraisals. Decision points represent the outcomes assigned to employees based on their appraisal results, such as "High Potential," "Skill Enhancement," or "Performance Improvement Plan." You can add, edit, or remove decision points to align with your organization's talent management process.
Assessment Points
In this tab, you can view the criteria used to evaluate employees. These points are organized into two categories.
  • Executive: These are pre-set metrics used to assess performance at the leadership or management level. They focus on high-level impact, such as how an individual contributes to business growth, their importance to the company's stability, and their readiness for future challenges.
  • Custom: This tab contains any additional, tailored criteria that may be specific to your organization’s unique needs.

For every criterion, there is a standardized scale with four values: Very Low, Low, High, and Very High.
