Creating and Managing Appraisals
Where to Find: Evaluate → Appraisal → Manage
The Manage section is where you set up and manage employee appraisals. Here, you can create appraisal groups, configure evaluation settings, set appraisal schedules, and assign employees to the appropriate groups.
- Coverage: The percentage of employees who have completed their appraisals compared to the total headcount.
- Upcoming Appraisals: The number of appraisals that are scheduled to take place soon.
- Overdue Appraisals: Alerts for appraisals that have passed their completion deadline.
- Unassigned Employees: A count of team members who are not yet part of an appraisal group, with a quick link to assign them.

Appraisal groups allow you to organize employees into evaluation groups and define the settings used during the appraisal process.
To create an appraisal group:
- Click + Add Group.
- Enter the appraisal group name.
- Configure the appraisal periodicity:
- Review Cycle: Define how often appraisals are conducted for the group.
- Notify In: Specify how many days before the appraisal employees should be notified.
4. Configure the evaluation scoring settings:
- Select the evaluation metrics included in the appraisal.
- Define the weight of each metric in the overall appraisal score. The total allocation must equal 100%.
- Click Distribute Equally to automatically divide the total weight (100%) evenly among all selected evaluation metrics.
- Apply one flow to all decisions: Use a single, unified approval process for all types of appraisal decisions.
- Configure approval flow per decision: Customize individual approval processes for each specific decision type.
- Select an approval flow from the predefined options.
6. Click one of the buttons below:
- Save - to save the group settings without assigning members yet.
- Cancel - to discard changes and close the window.
- Save & Assign Employees - to save the group and proceed directly to member selection.

- Position Fit Score: Measures how well an employee's skills align with the requirements of their role.
- 360 Review Score: Captures feedback from peers, direct reports, and managers to provide a well-rounded perspective.
- KPI Score: Tracks the achievement of specific, quantitative performance targets.
- Value Engagement Score: Assesses an employee's engagement and their contribution to company values.
Created appraisal groups are displayed on the Manage page, where you can track appraisal progress and manage group settings and assigned employees.
Each appraisal group card displays the following information:
- Appraisal Group Name: The name assigned to the appraisal group.
- Review Frequency: Shows how often appraisals are conducted for the group.
- Notification Schedule: Indicates when employees are notified about upcoming appraisals.
- Evaluation Metrics: Displays the metrics included in the appraisal, such as Position Fit Score, 360 Review Score, KPI Score, and Value Engagement Score.
- Overdue Appraisals: Shows the number of overdue appraisals within the group.
- Assigned Employees: Displays the number of employees included in the appraisal group.
For each appraisal group, you can:
- Manage Group: Update appraisal group settings.
- Assign Employees: Add employees to the appraisal group.
- Remove Group: Delete the appraisal group if it is no longer needed.

Below, in the Recent Alerts section, you can view employees with overdue appraisals, check their due dates, and click Appraise to start their evaluation.
