Reporting Tree

Where to Find: WE → Employees → Reporting Tree

The Reporting Tree provides a clear, interactive view of how employees are connected within your organization. It helps you understand who reports to whom and what type of relationship connects each employee (such as manager, mentor, or HR partner).
By bringing all these connections into one view, it helps you easily understand how your organization is structured and how different teams work together.

The Reporting Tree is built around a selected employee. It automatically opens to your position in the organization. Then you can select another employee.
  1. Choose an employee from the dropdown at the top
  2. The tree will display:
  • The employee’s managers
  • Their direct reports
  • All related connections based on defined job relations
On the left side of the page, a legend displays the various job relations active within your organization.
These categories define how employees are connected, for example:
  • Direct Manager (Solid blue)
  • HR Partner (Dashed pink)
  • Coach/Mentor (Dotted lines)
Each relationship type is represented by a different line style in the tree, helping you easily distinguish between them.
If you enable the “Show the Entire Chain” toggle, the full reporting structure will be displayed.
  • All levels above (managers)
  • All levels below (direct reports)
When disabled, the view shows only the direct connections of the selected employee.
