My Requests & Approvals

In the My Requests section, you can see all your request activity in one place. In the My Requests tab, you can track the requests you’ve submitted, create new requests, and in the Requests to Approve tab, you can view requests awaiting your approval.


My Requests


The list gives a clear overview of each request so you can quickly see its progress without opening each one individually.

Each row in the list displays the following information:

  • Request Title & Icon: Identifies the type of request submitted (e.g., Device Access or IT Support Request).
    • Clicking the request name opens the sidebar with detailed information about the request.
  • Current Status: Shows the status of the request (In Progress, Approved, Rejected, etc.).
  • Request Date: The date the employee submitted the request.
  • Approvers & Flow Status: A visual representation of the configured approval flow. You can see who is currently Pending or who has already Approved or Skipped their step.
  • Linked Items: Shows a count of any other Requests or documents that have been attached or linked to this specific submission.
  • Action Menu:
    • Link Request: Connect other requests to the current one to keep related submissions together for easier tracking and management.
    • Generate Document: Create a document from the request.

Requests to Approve

This tab displays all submissions that are currently pending your review and decision. This view only appears if you have been designated as an approver in a configured approval flow for any request form. A red badge on the tab shows the number of requests you're waiting for. 

Each row in the list displays the following information:

  • Request Title
  • Request Date
  • Employee who created the request.
  • Request StatusThe request will display the New status until it is reviewed or processed.
  • Approval Status: The flow status will show your step as Pending.
  • Linked Documents: The number of documents that have been attached to this specific submission.
  • Actions: 
    • Generate Document: Create a document from the request.
    • Respond: Take action on the request (approve or reject).

When you click on the request, a sidebar window opens, allowing you to review the full details and take the necessary action:

  • Approve: Accept the request, moving it forward to the next step in the approval flow or marking it as finalized if you are the last approver.
  • Reject: Deny the request, stopping the approval process and notifying the requester of the rejection. You can include a comment detailing the reason for the rejection.
  • Discard: Stop the approval process, removing the request from all approvers' queues.

Note: With the appropriate permissions, you can skip other approvers in the workflow. This will automatically finalize the approval for those who are missed.

You can use the Search bar and Filter options above the list to quickly locate specific requests by type and status.
