Understanding the Survey Overview: Details, Respondents, and Statistics
Once your survey is created and published, the Survey Overview page provides a comprehensive snapshot of its performance and settings. At the top of this page, you'll find key information about your survey, including its Status, Type, the Date it was created, and the unique Survey Link. Clicking on this link will open the live survey, allowing you to experience it as a respondent and even submit your feedback.
Immediately below this header, you'll see key metrics presented in informative cards:
- Recipients: This card displays the total number of individuals or groups who have been sent the survey.
- Respondents: This card shows the total number of individuals who have started or submitted a response to the survey.
- Completed: This card indicates the total number of respondents who have completed and submitted the survey.
- Response Rate: This card presents the percentage of recipients who have completed the survey, calculated as (Completed / Recipients) * 100%. This provides a quick measure of how engaging your survey has been.
Further down the page, you'll find three crucial tabs: Details, Respondents, and Statistics, each offering unique insights into your survey.
Details Tab:
Here, you will find a list of questions included in your survey, along with the available answer options for that question.
Respondents Tab:
The Respondents tab allows you to manage and view information related to who has participated in your survey. Depending on your survey's privacy settings (set in the "Setup Preferences" step), this tab displays:
- A list of individuals who have submitted responses.
- The status of invitations sent. (Delivered, Not Delivered, Completed)
- Sent Date and Submission Date.
You can view individual responses by clicking the View Responses button.
Statistics Tab:
The Statistics tab provides a visual and analytical overview of the responses collected for your survey:
- Question-by-question analysis: For each question in your survey, you'll see a breakdown of the answers received.
- Answer counts and percentages: Alongside the visualizations, you'll see the number of respondents who selected each answer option, as well as the corresponding percentage.
- Filtering options: You can filter the statistics based on specific questions or question types.
