This May, we are excited to share updates that will help you appreciate, clarify, and simplify your daily processes.
The crown jewel of this month's release is the launch of our brand-new Awards & Badges section within the Grow module. We are taking employee recognition to the next level with a structured, visual, and highly engaging approach to celebrating your team's achievements and strengthening your company culture.
Alongside this major feature, we have also rolled out several important system enhancements designed to simplify your workflows and reduce manual setup. These include more flexible approval flows and access permissions based on real job relations, enhanced Posts experience within the Announcements section, centralized Task Boards management, and an updated, more intuitive Competency section.

New Features and Enhancements

GROW

Employee Recognition with Awards & Badges


We’ve added a new Awards & Badges section in the Grow module to make employee recognition more structured, consistent, and easy to manage.
With this update, you can:
  • Create custom awards and badges tailored to the company culture, including unique names and visuals.
  • Define clear criteria for each award, so employees understand exactly what they need to achieve.
  • Manage recognition in one place, with easy access to active awards, updates, and configurations.

WORK
Task Boards Management


  • A new Task Boards tab has been added under Tasks → Settings to centralize board management.
  • You can now easily manage project boards in one place.
  •  Easily view which employees are assigned to each board.

  • Simplifies how you group and organize project tasks across the system.
  • Provides instant visibility into team assignments, ensuring everyone is in the right board.

Multi-Role Reporting-Based Access


  • Added reporting-based access in Roles & Permissions, allowing access via organizational relationships.
  • Introduced static access options: Self Access and Team Members Access.
  • Added dynamic access via Job Relations (e.g., Coach, Mentor, Supervisor).
  • Introduced multi-role logic with priority given to reporting-based permissions.

  • Less manual setup thanks to automatic access via job relations.

Other Enhancements

Employee Names in On/Offboarding Survey Responses

  • Previously, the system only displayed the name of the person who completed the survey.
  • The survey responses list now displays both the respondent’s name and the name of the employee undergoing onboarding or offboarding only for On/Offboarding survey types.

The Impact
  • Immediate clarity: HR managers can see exactly which newcomer or departing team member the feedback belongs to directly from the main list when viewing onboarding or offboarding surveys.
  • Time-saving: No more opening individual surveys one by one to identify the target employee.

SETTINGS
Flexible Approval Flows via Job Relations

What Changed

  • Custom Relation Types: Users can now select any custom Relation Type when configuring approval flows across the system.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding Integration: Onboarding and offboarding processes have been updated to support custom job-relation logic during setup.

The Impact
  • High Flexibility: Approval chains can now perfectly mirror your unique company structure and custom reporting lines.
  • Cross-Process Consistency: Onboarding and offboarding workflows now follow the same logic as approval chains, ensuring consistent handling of Job Relations across the platform.
  • Cleaner Setup: Job Relations reduce the need for extra roles while keeping approval workflows easy to customize.
EXPERIENCE

Enhanced Posts Experience in Announcements

We’ve redesigned the Posts experience within the Announcements section to improve content discovery, engagement visibility, and overall navigation efficiency.

  • Improved ranking of posts based on recency, comments, and likes
  • Clear visibility of active discussions and engagement on posts
  • Enhanced feed structure for smoother browsing and discovery
  • Improved post previews for easier reading and navigation

Competency Module Enhancement


  • Moved the Competency Profile and Competency Insights sections from Career to the unified Competency section, improving the menu structure.

  • Centralized Experience: Keeps all competency-related tools, profiles, and matrix data in one dedicated space, reducing navigation time.

Bug Fixes

SETTINGS → Grow Reviews 
The following bugs reported by our clients were identified and successfully resolved.
  • Answers to additional questions are not displayed.

Employees → Positions

  • Cannot save position when start date matches previous position end date.
