Creating and Managing 1-on-1 Agenda Templates
To get started with 1-on-1 meetings, it’s important to create customized agenda templates. These pre-designed agenda templates offer a structured framework for conducting productive 1-on-1 meetings, covering a range of discussion topics to ensure meaningful and well-rounded conversations.
Let’s explore the creation process.
- Go to Perform -→ 1-on-1s → Agenda Templates
- Click + Add Agenda Template
- Provide a title that reflects the agenda's focus (e.g., Performance Review Agenda, Career Development Agenda)
- Write a description outlining the key discussion topics
- Check the box to make the template Public or leave it unchecked for Private visibility
- Click + Add Talking Point to include as many discussion topics as you wish
- You can delete and edit the talking point using the cross ❌ icon and the edit ✎ icon respectively
- Click Save to finalize or Cancel to discard changes
The visibility of your agenda template depends on how you saved it:
- Public: Visible to all users within your organization
- Private: Accessible only to the template creator
Note: Only authorized users (HR managers, team leads) can create new agenda templates. These permissions are set within the Roles and Permissions section.
Managing Agenda Templates:
- Duplicate: Create copies of existing templates for customization by clicking the Copy button
- Delete: Remove unnecessary templates by clicking the Delete button
- Edit: Modify existing templates by clicking on their names and using the Edit icon
To access these options, click on the name of the agenda template you want to manage.
