Imagine your Spark.work Dashboard as your mission control center. It's the first thing you see after logging in, giving you a central hub to manage your tasks and stay informed.
Here, you'll find a variety of interactive widgets that provide quick updates on:
- Time off balances
- To-do tasks
- Employee birthdays
- New hires
- And more!
Spark.work keeps your essential tools within reach. On the left side of your screen, you'll find a menu that displays icons for all the modules available. Clicking the arrows at the bottom of this menu reveals the full names of each module. To hide the names again click the arrows and see only the icons.

The top menu ribbon provides quick access to several essential features through the following icons:

Remember! The Dashboard adapts based on your User Role, ensuring you see the most relevant information and have quick access to the actions needed for your specific responsibilities.

Now, let's explore the widgets on your homepage:
The banner prominently promotes downloading the mobile app, displaying a call to action and links to app stores for iOS and Android devices.

This section displays company-wide announcements, updates, or news. When your company shares posts or updates, they will appear in this section. The message "Your Company has no media posts yet" indicates that no announcements have been made.
Click Add Post to create and share new posts or announcements.

My Tasks
In the My Tasks section, you can see various items that require your approval, such as Time Offs, Time Trackings, Timesheets, and Requisitions. You can also see the Onboarding and Offboarding tasks specifically assigned for you to complete. For each category, the system displays the quantity of pending or overdue items.
- Time Offs to Approve: Review and approve pending time off requests (status: New).
- Time Trackings to Approve: Evaluate and approve submitted timesheets (status: New).
- Timesheets to Approve: Review and approve employee timesheets to ensure accurate time tracking and payroll calculations (status: New).
- Requisitions to Approve: Review and approve requests for new hires or changes to existing positions within the organization (status: New).
- Onboardings/Offboardings: Complete assigned tasks related to employee onboarding and offboarding.
Just so you know, if there are no current requests to approve, the dashboard will not be displayed.

Important: You'll need the corresponding permissions to perform the approval actions and complete on/offboarding tasks.
Info Hub
The Info Hub section is an access point for essential company documents and important web resources. It brings key information right to your fingertips, without requiring navigation into settings or remembering specific URLs. The Info Hub widget has two distinct tabs:
- Documents: This tab displays uploaded documents, identified by their titles (e.g., official policies, guidelines, forms, or other important files employees frequently need to reference). Each entry also shows the date it was uploaded, and an icon allowing you to review the document on your device.
- Links: This tab shows links, each with a descriptive title (e.g., "Company Intranet Portal," "IT Support Page"), the date it was added, and an icon. Clicking on an icon will redirect the user to the corresponding URL in a new browser tab.

My Pending Requests
This section provides an at-a-glance overview of your requests that are currently awaiting approval. For each pending request, such as time off (e.g., Sick Days), you can see:
- Request date;
- Requested period;
- Current status of the approvers
To view all your requests, use the scroll bar on the right side of the section.

My Time Offs
The My Time Offs section displays a list of available time off types that you can request. Each time off type includes a summary with the following details:
- Time Off Type: Identifies the specific type of leave, like Paid Vacation, Sick Leave, or Unpaid Vacation;
- Corresponding Icon: Helps visually identify different leave types;
- Number of Days Left: Shows the remaining days available for that specific time off type;
To request time off, click the Request link on this dashboard.

Tip: For detailed information on requesting and managing time off, refer to the corresponding article.
Schedule for the Week
This section showcases your upcoming interviews and meetings for the week.
What you'll see:
- Date and Time: Identify when each event is taking place;
- Candidate Name: Recognize who you'll be meeting with;
- Recruitment Pipeline: Understand the associated recruitment process;
- Stage Name: See the specific stage within the pipeline:
- By clicking the stage name, you can access more information related to that stage within the recruitment pipeline.
- Recruiter Name: See the recruiter;
- Hiring Manager Name: Identify the individual leading the hiring decision.
Just so you know, if there are no upcoming events for the employee, the dashboard will not be displayed, ensuring a focused view on relevant tasks and interactions.

Note: Only authorized users can view their upcoming interviews and meetings for the week here.
My pending Candidates
This section lets the authorized individuals manage candidates as they move through the hiring process. They can provide feedback and take actions like scheduling interviews or making offers by using the Feedback and Stage Action tabs.
- Feedback tab: This displays candidates assigned to specific pipelines or job openings awaiting your feedback at their current stage. Clicking the stage name directs you to the corresponding stage page for providing feedback;
- Stage Action tab: This allows you to complete specific actions required for candidates at different stages within the recruitment process, such as moving them to the next stage or rejecting them. Click the stage name to proceed with the available actions.
See More button opens the My Candidates quick filter within the Candidates section for further exploration.

My Contacts
My Contacts provides information about an employee's reporting structure and colleagues. There are five tabs:
- Reports To: Shows the name(s) of the direct manager(s) of the user (clickable link directing to their profile);
- My Reporters: Lists the name(s) of the employee(s) who report to the user (clickable links to their profiles);
- My Managers: Shows managers in the user's reporting chain (clickable links to their profiles);
- My Direct Reports: Lists the employees who report directly to the user (clickable links to their profiles);
- Other Contacts: Contains names of additional employees manually added by the user.
By clicking on each tab, the relevant employees are displayed.
To add more contacts, click the + Add button in the Other Contacts tab, select the desired employee, and click Save.

What's New in the Company
This section in the right dashboard column keeps you informed about your team: Upcoming Birthdays, New Hires, Out of the Office.
Upcoming Birthdays
Stay in the loop and celebrate with your colleagues! This section displays information about employees with birthdays within the next month:
- Photo: A visual representation of the employee;
- Name: Clickable link directing you to their employee profile page;
- Birthday: Employee's date of birth;
- Branch/Department: The employee's branch office and department affiliation.
New in Company
Get acquainted with your newest team members in this section. You'll find:
- Names: Click their names to visit their profiles and learn more about them;
- Branch/Department: See where they're located within the company.
- Position/Professional Level: Understand their role and level of seniority within the organization.
Out of Office
Who's Out of the Office?
This section helps you stay informed about colleagues who are currently unavailable:
- Today: View photos of employees who are out of the office today. Hover over their photo to see their absence type and date range. Click the photo to visit their profile.
- Upcoming (30 days): See a list of colleagues who will be out of the office within the next 30 days. Hover over their photos for absence details and click to access their profiles.
